Toward the end of the movie, when Wendy is on the subway, you see a newspaper headline about the deaths of Kimberly and Thomas (FD2). Click to read the details, it says a runaway Camaro was involved in their deaths, and that the Camaro belonged to the guy who had won the lottery. He didn't have a Camaro, he had a Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am.
