Just before Rambo gets into the jet, there is a shot of the jet's turbine blades accelerating. This means that the intake port is pulling in a tremendous amount of air that is necessary for the engine compressor to create takeoff thrust. But, only a few seconds later, a member of the aircrew sticks his head and a flashlight into the exhaust port of the starboard side engine and not even a hair on his head is displaced. This misplaced shot is acctually of the crew member doing his pre-flight checks before the engines are started.
