As you can CLEARLY hear, Red makes a bet with the man who bet on the heavyset man. He bets 10 cigarettes. But the next day when the man comes to claim his winnings, Red states that Andy Dufrain cost him 2 packs of cigarettes? I always though cigarettes came in packs of 20?
