Thunderbirds (2004) - How Fast Is Thunderbird 3?
Navigate to the "Bonus" section, where T3 is shown on the left-hand screen.
Click the "Facts" button.
At the end of the section, "Gordon Tracy" says: "At a top speed of 5000 MPH, we [he and his father Jeff] get in outer space pretty fast."
The slip-up is that at that speed, T3 wouldn't even be able to make low orbit -- Earth's escape velocity is about 25000 MPH.
