Ethan tells the Reverand that there are about "a dozen" Indians for each of the Texas Rangers. It looks like there are about 12 Rangers, so that means at least 100 Indians in their camp. Yet, when the Rangers attack we only see very few Indian warriors and the Rangers have no trouble over running them.
