When the U.S. helicopters air-assault the Viet Cong village, there is a close up shot from inside one of the helicopters on the ground that shows a helmetless soldier. He refuses to get out of the chopper and says "I'm not going!" In the background we see another soldier comes back and drags him out. A few seconds later we see a wide shot of a chopper landing with the same helmetless soldier refusing to get out, until that same other soldier goes back to the chopper and drags him out again.
