During the last 15 minutes, Neville drives through the darkened town back to his fortress. If you look at the reflections on his window you can see bright lights that the film crew set up on top of some of the buildings. Then just a few seconds later, look at the right-hand side cross street behind the blue truck that the family is pushing. You will see a huge movie light on a stand that illuminates the scene for the filming.
