Patton - What Year Are We in?
The very first time we see General Patton he is in Morocco reviewing a parade of that country's troops in 1942. During one shot, we see soldiers holding French made weapons known as MAT-49 machine pistols. The designator "49" means they were manufactured in 1949, long after the end of World War 2. A technical/prop master slip-up.
