Suicide Kings - Invisible Air Bags--The Newest Option on MBZ
When the friends have kidnapped the Mafioso and they are careening through the tunnel and crashing into everything--cars, trucks, walls, pillars, etc., the air bags never inflate. When they finally come to a screaching halt at the end of the chaos, the driver slams into the wheel--again, the air bags never inflates in the late model big Mercedes Benz. How convenient. They were able to drive away unscathed to the mansion where the rest of the action took place.

This "slip up" is actually noted in the movie immediately after it happens. After the final crash when the driver hits the wheel and the air bag doesn't engage, Jay Mohr, who is in the passenger seat, says "nice f*ckin airbag", and then they mimic Christopher Walken, saying "Kraut cars, they know how to build 'em".
