Towards the end of the movie, after Bartleby gives his big speech to the school board, he flings his chair away. Then the camera cuts away. When it cuts back, you can clearly see the chair upright again, back where it was. Then the camera cuts away again. When it cuts back a second time, the chair is gone, and you can see the guy in the back picking it up for him.
