In the episode "Gone," Spongebob grabs an axe to defend himself from vehicles. A boat drives up and Spongebob smashes the axe into the front of the bus. The axe stays in the front of the bus throughout the entire conversation between Spongebob, Mr.Krabs, and Patrick. When the bus drives away for "No Patrick Day." the axe vanishes. Was it a ghost?
