In England (and Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland, the traffic travels on the left, and so the steering wheel is on the right. In the other European countries (without exception, from what I can find on wikipedia) they travel on the right, and so the steering wheel is on the left. I can't remember the locations in the film, but apart from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, the steering wheel *should* be on the left.
