House - Cane
We all know that House had part of his right thigh removed which is why he uses a cane but he is not using the cane correctly. If the problem is with his right leg the cane should be in his left hand to ensure he is walking with the proper gait. Walking with the cane on the same side as the disfunction will only lead to more problems with his muscles.
Editor's Note: You are speaking of a matter which I deal with in my day job. This submission is 100% correct as far as it pertains to which hand to hold a cane in as it relates to which leg. Nice catch.

Very true! But, It is acknowledged in the show that he does use it on the wrong side, not a slip up. Just the character House. The episode where he does rehab for his shoulder, the nurse tells him "if you would use the cane on the proper side" that is the episode he uses the larger 4 legged cane.
