When the three supervillians enter the small town and a man threatens them with a gun. General Zod uses his powers to levitate the man up in the air. When the mans son begs for the General to let his father down, the General complies. As the man falls though, when he lands you can clearly see that there is a pad that is covered with dirt to break his fall. Dirt isn't supposed to bounce.
