In the second season, in the final episode, Ruth and Nicolai go to the cinema. They both go to see different screenings, and Ruth decides to leave her screening and go to Nicolai's to speak to him. She is clearly seen leaving her screen with no bag. However, on her return, when she leaves his screen, her handbag has, as if by magic, appeared!!
