It is in the episode "Heart of Gold", when Rance has just taken the child from Petaline and turns to face Nandi. As soon as he turns, if you pause the show, you can see that in his arm is a baby-doll. The next time we see Rance a few seconds later there is a real child in his arm. I'm surprised that this hasn't been posted yet because the doll is VERY visible.
