This slip up occurs during the chase sequence near the end of the movie when KG and JB are inside the Rock and Roll Museum. They do the "power slide" to get under the door and escape the security guards. In the slow motion sequence, knee pads are clearly visible on KG. He is not wearing knee pads before or after the sliding occurs.
