During the scene where Andy goes to Pizza Planet and the minivan is leaving, there is no sunroof in the minivan. However, later, towards the end of the movie, Buzz and Woody miraculously fall through a sunroof.
There was always a sunroof. Remember when Woody was in the car at the gas station on the way to Pizza Planet. Buzz gets to Woody after falling out the window trough the sun roof.
Yep, look verrrry closely when the minivan comes home at nighttime, pulling into the driveway. (in the aerial shot, of course) You'll see a very fine outline of the retractable roof.
