In the episode, The One With All The Rugby, Monica, who is temporarily living in Joey and Chandler's apartment with Rachael, finds a light switch that doesn't appear to turn anything on or off. After making many holes in the wall, she follows the wire and at the end of the episode we see it popping out of the wall. Then during the closing credits, shes seen flicking the switch and we see it turning the TV in her old apartment on and off. If she followed the wire and we see it sticking out of the wall, how is the switch able to turn the TV on and off?
