Tommyknockers, The (Stephen King) - Ralph Mccausland Predicts the Future!
In Book II chapter 3-1, we learn that in 1988 Hilly Brown was 10 years old, being born in 1978. But later in Book II chapter 5-3, Ralph McCausland talks about him to Ruth, yet in Book II chapter 5-4 we are told that Ralph died in 1972, two years before Hilly was even born!

You said that Hilly was born in 1978 and that Ralph died in 1972....how can it then be that Ralph died TWO years before Hilly was born?

I think what he's saying is the book said the guy died two years before and he is pointing out that that isn't possible if she was born in 78 and is 10 yrs old.
