King of Queens, The - Carries Mother
In the episode when Doug comes to visit Carries parents for the first time, Carrie is a grown-up. Carries parents (Arthur and his wife) have a severe argument about buying a boat and stuff where they say various things about their marriage and that Arthur's always been like that and so on. When Arthur locks himself up in the bathroom Carrie begs her mother to settle the discussion and make him come out.
In a later episode Carrie and Arthur visit her mothers grave and Carrie reads the name Simone on the tombstone. Arthur explains he lost the name Simone in a pokergame and hence she's now Carrie. In that review, Carrie is a child of around six years or younger. Carrie also mentions she was a teenager when her mother died.
How come Carries mother passed on when she was a child and then come back to meet Douglas?
