I just caught this on TV. When Billy Nolan (John Trovolta) tries to run over Carrie and she forces the car to do a barrel roll (beside for the characters not being tossed out of the car) a wheel rolls in the foreground of the shot while we see all tires on the car intact as it rolls to a stop and the trunk never opens so it cannot be a spare.
