Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - A Jedi's Natural Speed?
When Anakin switches C3-PO on in his room, C3-PO says he can't see a thing because one of his eyes is missing. Anakin picks up the eye in his right hand then puts it in his left in the same shot. He goes to put the eye in C3-PO but then suddenly it is back in his right hand as the shot changes. So it's true that the Jedis have the fastest reflexes and speed of hand imaginable.

Actually, when that character "went down hard", as you put it, the crash was caused by what appears to be a beer bottle that was sucked into one of the turbines.
