Rent - Missing Bag

When Angel is singing the song, you never see his/her bag, but then at the life support meeting he/she has it. So, where did it go?

Special Requirements:

The bag was not missing Tom was carrying it in when he arrived before he introduced Angel to Mark and Roger ...Tom throws it on the floor by the open bedroom door and then when he slides the bucket it winds up beside the bag
