At the beginning of the movie, where Lara first visits her father's grave, it says Richard Croft, 1985. So, we know he died in '85. Then how come when it shows Manfred Powell killing him with the gun, Mr. Powell is the same age! That scene would have taken place AT LEAST 15 or 16 years ago.
