Okay, I'm certainly not a big fan of W, but I don't see the slip-up here. Sure, it's kind of a pompous thing to say...kinda has a "My opinion is the only one that counts" aire to it, but it makes perfect sense. He's the president, and he gets to decide what's best for the country.
