In the episode "Moose Country" on the rugrats, there's a part where Tommy calls Spike to help them get out of the playpen, by having Spike pull on a rubber hot dog. Afterwards, Spike runs away, over a fence-type thing. If you watch closely, you'll see that Spike runs right through it! Weird!
