This is a low-budget cult classic by someone who had never done a feature film before, and there are a ton of errors. For instance, when Mary gets out of her car after arriving at the boarding house, she is wearing white high-heeled shoes, but by the time she has gone upstairs and is being shown her room by the landlady, she's wearing black loafers.
