Final Destination 3 - He Got Off?

When the girl is having the vision of the rollercoaster going out of control one of the things that made it come off the tracks the way it did was that the boy's camera fell and wrapped itself around the track, but he got off. So wouldn't the way the accident happened change? Or maybe not happen at all?
