When Ace visits Ray Finkles home and the mother shows him his bedroom, she plays a film which is a recap of sorts of Ray's missed field goal. As you watch the kick, the ball soars towards the camera (depicting a camera angle taken from behind the goal post). You can see that the ball soars to the right of the goal post (meaning it missed to the left). But watch a few clips later, you see a frontal view of one of the refs indicating that it missed, but he is waving off to the right (as if the ball missed wide right). Either this is a mistake in filming/editing, or we just have one extremely blind ref on our hands.
