At the scene where Leonardo confronts the woman who stole his medal (pick pocketed) about 45 minutes in to the movie, the woman had put a knife to the right side of Leo's neck. Shortly after, the right side of his neck had a blood spot. The very next scene where they were walking and talking together Leo was wiping/applying a rag or kerchief to the left side of his neck.
