Fast and the Furious, The - Nissan S2000?
The part of the movie where Brian, Dom, and Vince are in Johnny Tran's garage and Tran brings in Harry. Johnny mentions something about a couple of Nissan SR20DET's pulling top dollar before racewars. While he's saying it he is clearly looking at his S2000. And during racewars he drives that S2000. If you know anything about cars an SR20DET most commonly goes into a 240SX, which is a Nissan, not a Honda.

I guess you logically could. the honda s2000s' motor sits far back enough to house one .. but it all comes down to this .. why would you put a SR20DET in an s2000?

If you actually listened carefully, you'd notice that he says "a couple of Spoon SR20's". Spoon is an aftermarket tuning company for Honda, not Nissan. Spoon would never ever have anything to do with an SR20DET engine. Coupled with MoTeC system exhausts and exploding floorpans at high speeds, this movie is full of sh*t.

It's entirely possible to install a Nissan engine in a Honda. On "Monster Garage", they routinely install Chevy engines in Fords. This is not a mistake.
