Full House - Did I Graduate or Did I?
In one episode of Full House, Jesse reminisces about his old girlfriend Carrie(played by Erika Eleniak in the episode) and when having a memory of her, they show the gymnasium with a banner of Class of '80. Jesse rides in on his bike and Carrie says he shouldn't be riding in school to which Jesse's reply is "I graduate tomorrow, what'll they do, expel me. Ok, in the episode where DJ needs Jesse's help with her "Stay in School" campaign, Jesse says he can't help because he didn't stay in school, he's a dropout.

I have long notcied this and I wouldn't really classify it as a slip-up; a slip-up is more along the lines of a technical goof in the show or a flubbed line, etc. While it is true that slipups also occur in the writing, I'm inclined to state that this example is just the writers re-writing the character's history, rendering the "Class of '80" episode null. It is not as if the character was supposed to have forgotten that he graduated in '80, it's just that it was re-written so he didn't. They did the same thing with changing his last name in 1988.
