If you pay close attention in the scene in Germany, with the first ticket winner. His father bites the microphone top completely off. One second later the same man is using a whole new microphone with a top on it. There was no possible way for him to switch microphones that quickly.

Auctually thats a bad slipup, even though YES the microphone thing gets bitten off, every anchorman person has an extra microphone, so maybe it was handed to him quickly.

Well he is a TV reporter and the thing is there is a slip up within it the American reporter says that it was while America slept and that they had been waiting several hours for a live report but they should have been ready straight away then showed interviews for the rest of the day as Germany is 6 hours ahead.
