I don't really think that is a slip up. Kip seemed interested at how it was being grated each time it switched back to him. Can't you notice how much he was looking at it?
Oh. And you spelled idiot wrong.
I've seen this one before too, but I think it was supposed to be a joke because everytime it cuts back to Kip and the pile of cheese, Kip keeps staring at it in a way which makes it seem like it's supposed to be that way.
