Leave It To Beaver - Beaver at the Window
In the Leave It To Beaver episode where Wally has been invited to a dance at the country club with Mary Ellen Rogers, Wally locks himself in his room to learn to Cha Cha with an instructional record. As Wally plays the record and tries the steps, Beaver is outside the window watching and laughing. Wally and Beaver's bedroom is on the second floor of the Cleaver house and it would have been impossible for Beaver to watch from the window. There is never any mention of a fire escape nor do we ever see a fire escape when Beaver or Wally look out the window.

This is not a slip-up. Watch episode 1x08 - "Beaver's Crush" and you will see the boys climb a lattice and walk along the roof to the window. That explains the ease of Beaver stepping through the window.
