Left Behind - The Rising -- Linguistic Error
Whilst I was perusing the Left Behind prequel, entitled The Rising, I noticed an error in the writers' use of Romanian in the Nicolae Carpathia section. On page 242, Marilena Carpathia tells the woman on the phone "A face un juramint; swear to me." (Literally, a face un juramint means to "make an oath") "A face" is not a command to "make", it is an infinitive verb and needs to be set into the imperative in order to make it a command. The correct way to say this would be "Faceti-ma un juramint."
