Near the end of the movie, where he's waiting for the girl in the T-bird to give him a call at the payphone by the diner. The payphone has a single slot for coins(not manufactured until early 70's. Payphones in the 60's had three (3) coin slots across the top (one for nickels, one for dimes, and one for quarters) Note: the theme for the movie was "where were you on 62"

I think the producers noticed this because the phone is obscured by shadow. I noticed that about the third time I saw the movie. You have to look closely to actually see it.
