in some episodes of this, the Asian lady in Fat Fighters is called Mary(mainly the earlier ones) but in other episodes she's called Myra, whats the deal with that?
Marjorie Dawes can't understand the name Meera in earlier episodes and decides to call her Mary instead. It's supposed to be a joke and therefore not a slip-up.

She just cant pronounce her name, she calls her moira mary, and very rarely meeria which is her real name. In the script book thing for the second series it has a register for marjorie dawes' fat fighters session, for meera she has put

Hi,
Marjorie is an obvious racist, and a thick one at that. Just as she is the only person who can't understand Myra's speech, she's probably supposed to get her name wrong as well.
