Goonies, The - How Did Mouth Get In?
-Mikey and Brand open the door for Mouth.
-A few seconds later, Mouth, Mikey, and Brand hear Chunk downstairs in the yard.
-Mouth makes Chunk do the truffle-shuffle, and then they go through this whole big thing with the bowling ball, balloon, chicken, etc.
-If Chunk had to go through all that mess, then how did Mouth get through the gate without Mikey or Brand setting it off?

Easy...he came in through the other door, not the same one as Chunk. If you'll remember, there was a scene in which Mikey was standing along the rail looking out at the ocean, pondering what life would be like away from the Goondocks, when Brand approaches from the far end of the wrap-around porch, then grabs him and drags him back the same way...the opposite direction from the front of the house.
