Magnum, PI - License Plate
The opening credits sequence shows Magnum smile at the camera and drive away in the Ferrari. You don't even have to look closely to see that the license plate on the back of the car isn't the famous "Robin 1" tag and is instead just a series of letters and numbers like any other plate.

Pete writes:
The license plate "56E-478" was used in the pilot episode of "Magnum, P.I." Then, for the second episode and all of those thereafter, "ROBIN 1" was used. The scene of the Ferrari pulling away in the opening credits was from the pilot episode.
