In the part of the movie when Vincent is searching for Annie in the library, She crawls on all fours very quietly with no shoes on as not to make any sound. Max finds them and the chase moves out of the library and out of the building. When they get out and are headed to the train, Annie is running in high heels. I didn't see the shoes in her hand when she was crawling or at any point see her put them on.
