Freaks and Geeks - The Future of Gaming
In one episode, Sam and Neil beg their parents for Atari systems. Sam goes to the store with his mom and goes to look at the Ataris. We see some Atari and Intellivision games on the rack. One of the Atari games is in a silver box with a red stripe which didn't come along until later. (The show takes place in 1980.) Also, when they're playing "Asteroid" on Neil's Atari, it's arcade-perfect. As if!
(Note:The store might have had Intellivision systems and games as it came out in 1980.)

It's still pretty accurate. In the background you can see the 'Vanguard' and 'Robot Tank' games, and they are authentic because I used to own an Atari. The producers must have put in heaps of effort to get it authentic, so cut them some slack.
