In episode 4.5 Blowing Bubbles, when Ruth-Ann's son, Matthew, is talking to Maurice at the Brick, he's simultaneously tying a fly. If you watch as the camera alternates between his face and Maurice's, the trout fly he's tying goes from having the chenille yarn end trimmed (we see him do this with his scissors) to hanging untrimmed, then trimmed again, several times.
