Friends - Not Even 24hrs?
OK in real life, when someone has a baby, not only the person who just gave birth but the infants born are put into recovery JUST IN CASE, especially for just a day, Monica and chandler took the babies home right after Erica went to recovery..TSK TSK..and also..isnt it a big coincidence that the day they have the babies is the day they move, AND the day Rachel leaves?..weird

If a baby is healthy, he/she can be taken home the same day they're born. As for the moving, the babies came two weeks early, they had planned on getting settled into the new house, before the babies came, but the babies ended up coming early.

Are you sure about this? I was wondering about the same thing but my mum said they keep them in for the mother's sake, incase something happens to her. She's probably wrong though! If you are right, it is a huge mistake!

<> Like I said if the baby is healthy they can go home the same day, in this case erika(the mother) wasn't keeping the babies, so it didn't matter if she had to stay in longer than the babies. you also have to keep in mind, it's a tv show, we don't know how much time passed between the babies being born and Them going home. it could have been 12 hours easily.

My Aunt went home 3 hours after she gave birth. Times have changed this is the 2000s not the 80s

This doesn't always happen. When I had my daughter, she wasn't brought into recovery. She went straight to the nursery until I left recovery.
