In the scene when Rev. Scott is swimming with the rope through the underwater corridor, he comes up through a stairwell. When he comes through, you can see the finned legs of a diver swimming near the top of the screen. It's been acknowledged that it was a safety diver on the production crew. He could have been a bit more off-camera and still been near enough that if needed he could help.
