When Dorothy first meets the scarecrow, notice how his shirt is buttoned. It buttons from left to right. Later, in the forest when they meet the tin man, when they are dancing, the shirt is buttoned from right to left. It is brief but noticeable.
I think this again has to do with the whole mirror thing that was mentioned earlier by someone where the editing required that a few of the frames to be mirrored to make up for a mistake.
It might not be a mirror trick. Have you noticed "Dorothy" tells the two of them they are the best friends anyone could ever have she has "Toto" in her arms they then cut to a close up of her telling them they are the best friends anyone could have. She has just dropped "Toto", because she has her arms around each of them. Nor is he in her arms when the switch is seen.
