Happy Gilmore - Terrible Score Keeping
In the final day of the tournament against shooter, Happy has just returned to reality after visiting his ruined Happy Place when shooter starts kissing his grandma and whatnot...well immediatley after that he screams and starts swinging at the buried ball. He whiffs about 4 times, then hits the ball in the water which would give him a penalty stroke and to re hit before the water. That means the lowest score he could of gotten on the hole would be at least a 7 but more like a 10, yet, the score board only drops Happy 1 shot when it actually should have been at least 3 or 4.

The scorekeeping was worse than you thought! Happy was playing a par 4 or 5, since he was past the green in two shots. Once past the green, he takes four whacks at the ball, missing every time. He then hits his SEVENTH shot into the water. If he took a correct drop, he would be hitting his NINTH shot from foot-long grass to the green. Realistically, the best score he could have made is a 10, but probably higher--that means he was AT LEAST 5,6, or 7 over par for the hole. I laugh every time I watch it!
