Back To The Future - Stunt Driver
At the end of the movie, when Doc comes back from the future (2015, to be exact), the DeLorean runs into a garbage can in front of Marty's house. When the DeLorean runs into the garbage can, if you look real closely, you can see that the driver is clearly not Doc (Christopher Lloyd), but a stunt driver. After this, when Doc gets out of the car, he's wearing futuristic sunglasses. Clearly, the stunt driver doing the stunt was not wearing the glasses that Doc is wearing when he gets out of the DeLorean. Geez, you'd think the filmmakers would do a better job of disguising the stunt doubles to look like the real actors.

Well, it would be a little hard for the stunt driver to drive with those opaque metal glasses on, (as cool as they would be)

What I don't understand is why they needed a stunt driver to smash the vehicle into a TRASH CAN. Is Christopher Lloyd incapable of driving into an aluminum can and knocking some papers to the ground? Perhaps he just cannot drive a manual transmission...although at his age, I would doubt that very much. What a trivial waste of money for the filmmakers. No wonder movies cost millions of dollars.

It wasn't a stunt driver. This was one of the shots with Eric in it, except he was cut off and replaced by Michael Fox. They re shot all the scenes that Eric was in where you could easily recognize him. That's why you can find so many slip ups, because they couldn't recreate the scenes excactly. They decided not to refilm the car crash because Eric wasn't too easily recognized.
