Rescue from Gilligan's Island - Different Colored Disk?
A few minutes into the movie , when the foreign country destroys the satellite , and the disc falls , it is clearly a bronze color. but when it falls into the water , it is silver , and remains silver the rest of the movie.

the changeing color of the disk can be easily explained the color of the disk falling through space was being heated by entering the earth's atmosphere, it is common for many metals to change colors when heated,
